092 Natural Supplements are neither.
In case you missed the big news lately, those herbal supplements you’re buying have a few big problems.
The biggest problem, is that a majority of leading herbal product brands in North America DO NOT CONTAIN THE INGREDIENTS YOU BUY THEM FOR. (Forbes, Times, original study) Or they are contaminated, or contain actual drugs like steroids to provide a noticeable effect. Put simply, they are selling you mostly filler with different labels.
The assumption at work here is that somehow these supplement companies are more concerned with your health than food companies seems ridiculous to me. The main Logical Fallacy at work here is that being natural is somehow healthier completely ignores the all-natural dangers, like botulism, anthrax, salmonella, and being eaten alive by bears.
Why waste extra money for ingredients that don’t work, in pills that don’t have any of the actual ingredients you want, made by companies who deliberately mislead their customers? By all accounts it doesn’t make sense.
I don't take that artificial powder drink crap that comes from a factory.
That's good, Mitch.
Yeah, I stick to whey protein, because it's natural.
So this powder from a factory is artificial. But this one, also from a factory, is natural?
It says so right here.
