This comic goes out to James, another of my fantastic Kickstarter backers.

Ken Ham’s creationism argues that a species or “kind” cannot change, which would mean that all those fossils of apes, ape-men, cave-men, and other transition fossils were independent species living alongside mankind before the flood. Not only did we ride dinosaurs, we hung out with Australopithecus and a whole host of primates following us in turn.

This is a depiction of prehistoric man, being followed by all those annoying apes.

As I explained in detail under the last comic – skepticism should not be conflated with atheism, and critiquing pseudoscientific religious claims is not an attack on religion itself. For example, most religious and secular Americans can agree that faith healing in lieu of seeing a doctor is insanely dangerous. Futurama is often a brilliant satire, I apologize for the Comedy Central ads, but all of the background signs and references makes this clip worth it:

You're saying that all fossils are either fully human or fully ape?
